Your student must attend a school within the Kuna School District to sign up for this class.
You and your student will be required to attend the mandatory orientation for this class. Orientation will be held at Kuna High School, May 19th at 5:30pm. We will email a reminder about orientation prior to the orientation date. If you have questions, please call the office.
IMPORTANT: HAVE YOU TAKEN YOUR STUDENT TO THE DMV YET? IF NOT, YOU CANNOT SIGN UP FOR THIS CLASS. YOU MUST HAVE A VALID PERMIT NUMBER TO REGISTER. THE PERMIT NUMBER IS ON THE RECEIPT FROM THE DMV. IF YOU REGISTER WITHOUT A VALID PERMIT NUMBER, YOUR STUDENT WILL BE IMMEDIATELY REMOVED FROM THIS CLASS.
BEFORE YOU SIGN UP FOR DRIVER EDUCATION, PLEASE CHECK ATHLETIC SCHEDULES, MUSIC SCHEDULES, AND ANY OTHER ACTIVITIES THAT MAY CONFLICT WITH THE DRIVER EDUCATION DRIVING SCHEDULE. YOUR STUDENT MUST MAKE ALL DRIVING APPOINTMENTS TO PASS THE CLASS. DRIVING APPOINTMENTS WILL NOT BE CHANGED TO ACCOMMODATE THE STUDENT.
$50.00 cash will be due at orientation. No checks or credit cards will be accepted at orientation.
If you are using the Fast Forward/Advanced Opportunities Funding - use COUPON CODE: Funding. Do not pay for the class with a credit card. No refunds will be given.
We are only able to accept Fast Forward funds from students that attend a school within the Kuna School District.
During the registration, you will be asked to pick your student's driving appointments only. The appointments start and end at Kuna High School. We will not change appointments to accommodate a student, so be sure to check your calendar for any schedule conflicts before choosing your spot.
The online course will be opened for the student after the mandatory orientation has been attended and the online class will close at 11:00 am on 6/30/2025. The online course will be available to the students 24 hours per day, seven days a week. (There will be no Zoom calls or meetings with a teacher during this course.)
5 THINGS YOU WILL NEED TO TAKE WITH YOU TO THE DMV TO APPLY FOR YOUR PERMIT:
- Verification of Compliance from attending school (pick up from school secretary or district office during summer session)
- Original Birth Certificate
- Photo Identification (i.e. activity card, year book picture, passport)
- Social Security Number (card not required)
- Birth Parent must show photo ID (driver’s license). If last name is different than the student, documentation will be needed to explain the difference, i.e. divorce decree, marriage license, adoption papers
Return & Refund Policy: Phillips Driving School does not process refunds or returns. Ensure you have selected the correct class time and that all of the information you enter is complete and accurate. Use the code: Funding when registering to avoid payment.
