THE STUDENT'S PERMIT NUMBER WILL BE REQUIRED DURING THE REGISTRATION PROCESS.
This class is for Kuna School District students only. Please do not enroll your student unless the student is currently enrolled in the Kuna School District. Project Impact Stem Academy does NOT qualify for the Kuna School District program.
ALL DRIVING APPOINTMENTS START AND END AT KUNA HIGH SCHOOL.
If you are registering more than one student, you will need a separate email address for each student's registration. If you have had another student go through our program, you will need to use a different email for the next student you are registering.
Carefully choose your student's driving spot, because it cannot be changed after the registration has been submitted. Your student must make every driving appointment to pass the class. Your student will be issued a "fail" grade if a driving appointment is missed. The driving appointments will not and cannot be changed to accommodate your schedule. Most driving spots require your student to be available anytime after school (weekdays) during the three week period of the class. Some spots only drive on certain days of the week. You will choose during the registration process.
If you have secured a spot in the class, you will immediately receive a confirmation email from Phillips Driving School. If you have not received the confirmation email, you have not secured a spot. You'll need to try again during the next open enrollment.
When registering your student, please click the "pay at orientation" option to secure your student's spot if you want to use Fast Forward Funds.
What is Fast Forward Funds? The Kuna School District will apply $225.00 towards the cost of your driver's education. It's easy to apply for these funds and every student in the Kuna School District is eligible for these funds!
Your best option is to choose "pay at orientation". With the Fast Forward Funds (a.k.a. Advanced Opportunities) money applied to this course, you will only have to pay $25.00 cash at orientation. That's right, only $25.00 cash for your student's driver's education course!
There are no refunds for credit card payments, so if you use a card, you will not be able to apply for the funding.
Please do NOT apply for the Advanced Opportunities/Fast Forward funding until you have secured a spot in a class.
The Kuna School District Driver's Education course is currently being provided as an online course. (The course does not include any Zoom calls.) The course is self lead and available 24 hours per day, seven days a week during the course dates. Each class consists of three weeks of school days.
THE DMV REQUIRES THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS TO ORDER THE INSTRUCTION PERMIT:
Verification of Compliance letter - call the front office of the school your student attends and ask for this letter.
Birth Certificate - photocopies not accepted
Social Security Number - card is not required, but you must know the number while at the DMV
Qualifying photo - your student's current student i.d. card, passport, yearbook with photo, etc.
Parent I.D. - or guardianship documents if needed
Please note: This Kuna Driver's Education Program is offered at a reduced rate because the Idaho State Department of Education supplements the cost.
We do not accept checks as of 1/1/2018.
